Drifting War Memories: A Dialogue Session the Documentary "From Island to Island"The Golden Horse Award-winning documentary From Island to Island, was directed by Malaysia-born and Taiwan-based director Lau Kek-Huat. It focuses on the historical memories of Taiwan and Malaya during the Second World War during the Japanese occupation.
This dialogue session offers the local public an opportunity to engage with the director and historians from both regions, to explore the historical narrative of World War II in depth, and to rethink the relationship between the past and the present.
