Health Talk: “Maze: Why Is Seeking Medical Help So Difficult?”
When experiencing physical discomfort or receiving abnormal health screening results, many people often find themselves confused about the next step: should they visit a government clinic, a private hospital, or seek traditional treatment? Each option involves weighing time, cost, and energy—making the journey to seek medical help feel like navigating a daunting maze.To help the public better understand medical pathways and enhance awareness of the healthcare system and medical finances, HIS Network Global, the Subang Jaya Zone 10 Residents’ Association, Sayangi Kinrara, and Oneworld Hanxin College are jointly organizing a health talk titled “Maze: Why Is Seeking Medical Help So Difficult?”. The event will be held on June 1, 2025 (Sunday) at 2:30 PM, at the North Court of IOI Mall Puchong.
The talk will feature Dr. Ong Tee Chuan, a consultant hematologist from Ampang Hospital, as the guest speaker. Dr. Ong is a graduate of the University of Malaya’s Faculty of Medicine and has nearly 30 years of experience, specializing in blood cancers and bone marrow transplants.
Admission is free, and all are welcome to attend. For more information, please contact the organizer at 017-8256107.
