How Far Can a Piece of Paper Fly?

Recently, Oung Kang Wei, a lecturer from Oneworld Hanxin College, was invited to Port Dickson Chung Hwa High School to deliver an inspiring and creative sharing lecture to secondary school students participating in the "Independent Chinese Secondary School Arts Camp."

During the lecture, Mr. Oung shared his personal experiences, from his learning process as a school magazine editor to his current career path as a media lecturer. He eloquently explained the thinking and significance behind design and layout, giving students a more relatable and realistic understanding of media design work. He also encouraged students to be bold in trying new things and to find their own direction through continuous exploration.

To further engage the students, an interactive session was included. Students folded their own paper airplanes using different colored papers and explored the implications of color matching and selection. Mr. Oung used this opportunity to convey the idea that "every seemingly small decision can influence the future," guiding students to reflect on choices, personality, and growth through creative activities.

The atmosphere was lively, with students actively asking questions and interacting with the lecturer, making the entire sharing session even more engaging and interesting. This is not just a lecture about design and media, but also a learning journey that inspires thinking and sparks creativity.
