Pavane for an Infant - Film Sharing Session
The award-winning film "Pavane for an Infant", which received the Youth Jury Prize at the 39th Fribourg International Film Festival in Switzerland, will be featured in a special film sharing session at Oneworld Hanxin College.Set against the backdrop of Malaysia’s abandoned infants issue, "Pavane for an Infant" focuses on a 24-hour baby hatch facility in Kuala Lumpur. The film tells the story of a female volunteer who rescues abandoned babies while confronting the challenges of gender inequality. This film is directed by renowned Malaysian filmmaker Chong Keat Aun.
Director Chong Keat Aun, together with leading cast members Fish Liew, Natalie Hsu, and Pearlly Chua, will be present to share behind-the-scenes stories, cultural inspirations, and the deep humanistic spirit that shaped the film.
