Visit Xiao En Memorial Park
Students were able to experience the process of coffin inspection and placement, crematorium operation, body placement and funeral preparation. At the same time, the counseling and consulting instructors also exchanged and shared life issues with the students, hoping that they could care for themselves and others.Student shared:
"Through this guided tour, I gained a deeper understanding of life and death, and also experienced: saying love, apologizing and saying goodbye. I also learned that I have to say goodbye to those who have passed away, while those who are still alive have to learn to live well.
We were also arranged to visit the operating room of the major body teachers and crematorium operations, and learned that the 5 major processes of funeral practice is the edge, coffin, funeral, burial, and continuation.
These 5 processes are the complete flow of the deceased from the beginning of death until burial, and how the living should continue to live. This valuable experience of making a trip 'to death' has made me appreciate my family members who are still alive even more."
